The Democratic Labor Party (DLP) of Australia is beginning a new phase in our long and proud history of service to the people of Australia.
The original and deep concerns that led to the formation of our Party came from real threats to our liberty and democracy. Today’s issues are of a different nature, but they are just as significant. They concern the protection of life itself. They concern the fundamental value and safe haven of our families; and, once again, the importance of workers and the contribution they make to the building up of this great nation and our place in the region and the world ....
