Greg, who is a long distance B-Double driver, is best described as a ‘true hard-working Queenslander’.
Greg grew up in rural outback Queensland and has experienced firsthand the adversities that people on the land face, from floods, droughts to financial hardships.
Greg has a rural property is in the Longman Electorate and resides in Brisbane with his wife and children due to his children’s educational and special needs requirements.
Greg is quoted in saying that “the Federal Government’s proposed ‘200 Billion off budget investment’ into military hardware, is really just an ‘off budget stimulus package by stealth’. However I’m just a truckie so what would I know’.
‘It seems that the government has forgotten to spend money on the people who fight the wars” said Mr Bell, “that being our homeless and poverty stricken veterans, which is made up of thousands of returned servicemen and their families’
Labour DLP appears on the ballot paper for the first time on July 28th. The voters of Australia will see much more of the party at the next federal election.
